Chicago Arts - Christmas Around the World & Holidays of Light
Since 1942, the Chicago Museum of Science and Industry has hosted a holiday exhibit - and now it's better than ever. Showing from November 19 through January 3, Christmas Around the World & Holidays of Light is a dazzling display that's perfect for all ages. The museum's soaring 45-foot Grand Tree takes center stage in the Rotunda, and is surrounded by 50 more holiday trees - all decorated by volunteers from the city's ethnic communities and cultural groups. You'll also find special performances throughout the season, including choir groups, musicians and dancers. Intermittent falling "snow" completes the festive atmosphere. Highlights of Christmas Around the World & Holidays of Light include:
- Grand Tree
- 50 Decorated Trees from Around the World
