Spectacular Chicago Navy Pier Fireworks - 2015 Schedule
Navy Pier Aon Summer Fireworks
During the summer through Labor Day (September 5, 2015), Navy Pier provides a dazzling light show twice a week. On Wednesdays at 9:30 p.m., and Saturdays at 10:15 p.m., enjoy thrilling fireworks displays reflected in Lake Michigan, complete with synchronized music. If you do decide to come that day, make sure to get there early. Large crowds are expected, and when Navy Pier reaches capacity, authorities will close the gates.
While you're waiting for the sun to go down and the display to begin, why not check out Navy Pier attractions? Take a ride on the Ferris Wheel, Carousel or Wave Swinger. The Children's Museum offers hands-on activities that educate and entertain. The Navy Pier IMAX Theatre boasts a screen reaching 6 stories high and digital surround sound. How about grabbing a bite to eat? Table service restaurants include the Riva Crab House and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville Bar & Grill. For something fast and delicious, try the Food Court offerings, where you'll find chains like Starbucks and McDonald's as well as Twisted Lizard Tex-Mex and Carnelli's Deli.
You can also enjoy Navy Pier fireworks right on the Lake by taking a cruise. There are a few from which to choose. These include the Odyssey Fireworks Dinner Cruise (http://www.odysseycruises.com/chicago), the Spirit of Chicago cruise (http://www.spiritcruises.com), the Mystic Blue cruise (http://www.mysticbluecruises.com) and the Seadog cruise (http://www.seadogcruises.com/chicago/cruises/specialty/fireworks).
