Book of Mormon
Book of Mormon at Bank of America Theatre- Through September 08, 2013
From the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, and winner of Nine Tony Awards, Book of Mormon has swept the nation of theatre goers and has even been regarded as "the best musical of this century." Book of Mormon is an exhilarating Broadway musical filled with humor, obscenity, and strikingly kind. The musical tells a story of two missionaries satisfying their religious obligations as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by fulfilling a mission to AIDS- plaques, poor, and hungry Africa. What ensues is a journey of emotions and growth while addressing sensitive issues, such as homophobia, poverty, religious difference, love, and compassion.
Being performed at the Bank of America Theatre in Chicago, this uncompromised and large budget production leaves no room for the audience imagination. Brilliantly choreographed and perfectly cast, the show is nothing short of magnificent. The Book of Mormon will be performed through September 8.
