Grant Park Music Festival Presents its 80th Anniversary Season
Experience all that Chicago has to offer this summer with countless free events throughout the city. All summer long, take advantage of the free concerts in Millennium Park as the Grant Park Music Festival celebrates its 80th Anniversary. Residents and tourists alike take the grass and bleachers at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion to enjoy world class music in a picnic like atmosphere. Take in the sights of the city with a musical score by famous composers like Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, Mozart, Dvorak, Handel, and many more.
The 2014 season opens on Wednesday, June 11, with Carlos Kalmar and the Grant Park Orchestra with piano sensation Natasha Paremski performing Tchaikovsky's Piano Concert No. 2 and Francesca da Rimini. See the full schedule here.
