Lincoln Park Zoo Events: Ghost ToursLincoln Park Zoo Ghost Tours
Thursday, October 2, 9, 16, 23 & 30
Visiting Chicago this fall? You can find plenty of bone-chilling ways to celebrate the Halloween holiday. The Lincoln Park Zoo is a popular all-age attraction that houses a wide range of wildlife. During October, the beautiful property transforms into a landscape of spooky haunts when the sun goes down. The Thursday fright nights will guide you through a haunted history after-hours, setting a creepy ambiance.
Paranormal investigator Ursula Bielski is the experienced tour guide, taking groups through the zoo's unsettling cemetery past. With sights such as the 19th-century "Suicide Bridge", there will be several highlights and haunting scenes. The background of strange animal sounds will set the mood as tour goers guess which animal house is most likely to be haunted.
The tours start at 8 p.m. and end at 9:30. Since the tone is on the scary side, the tour is not recommended for guests under the age of 8. (However, the little ones will delight in the animal attractions during the day, so be sure to come back when the sun is shining.) Snacks are available, and 21+ adults are welcome to enjoy beer and wine onsite.
Space is very limited, so reserve your tickets at http://www.lpzoo.org/events/calendar/zoo-ghost-tours.
