Chicago Auto Show 2014If motorized modes of transportation of any kind are your thing, you'll be into the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. Beginning Saturday, February 8 and ending Monday, February 17, North America's largest auto show will cover over 1 million square feet of space in McCormick Place's North and South Exhibit Halls. The 106th edition, which took place for the first time in 1901, will feature a wealth of enticing exhibits. You'll be dazzled by almost 1,000 unique vehicles brought in from around the globe that range from cars and trucks to SUVs to an array of experimental cars. And if that's not enough, you'll be afforded the chance to check out a fine line of accessories along with classic collector and antique cars.
The Chicago Auto Show is renowned for its special days honoring a myriad of groups and this year's event is no different. Tuesday, February 11 is Women's Day. Ladies are admitted for half price and they get to hear from manufacturers who are highlighting programs just for them on the purchasing and leasing of cars as well as upkeep and maintenance. Wednesday, February 12 through Friday, February 14 is the Chicago Auto Show Food Drive. When you come on any of these days with three cans of food, you'll get in for half price and your much-appreciated donations will go to A Save Haven Foundation. And Friday, February 14 is also Telemundo Hispanic Day. To get more details, as well as to get your motor running, check out http://www.chicagoautoshow.com/default.aspx.
