It’s a grand slam of summer fun in Chicago! Kick off the month of August at the 12th annual Wrigleyville Summerfest in one of Chicago’s most popular, historic neighborhoods. It’s the home of Wrigley Field and the beloved Chicago Cubs baseball team. Enjoy excellent food, killer live bands and family entertainment. Event organizers expect 20,000 attendees, so you know this is the place to be!
Throughout Wrigleyville Summerfest, neighborhood vendors will be on hand with a diverse array of delicious food and drinks, including tasty beers and mouthwatering desserts. Pull on your dancing shoes, because the joint is going to be jumping in Wrigleyville! Local musical groups like Too White Crew will play original tunes as well as favorite popular covers, keeping you grooving all afternoon and into the evening. Families, bring your kids because there’s definitely fun in store for the youngest set. The special Kids Zone features Summerfest games and activities, including an out of this world moon bounce house!
Admission is a suggested donation of $5 per person. All proceeds benefit the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, Resurrection Lutheran Church, The Night Ministry and the Lakeview Pantry, one of the city’s largest food pantries. The Night Ministry reaches out to youth and adults with much needed support services.
