The winning sculpture, hailing from Racine, Wisconsin, featured a dragon, koi fish, and flowers.
100 Years of Picasso in Chicago -

A point of pride, The Art Institute of Chicago was the first museum in the United States to display the work of Pablo Picasso, possibly the most influential artist of the 20th century. That was in 1913, and this year we're celebrating the master's relationship with the Windy City in an exhibit of over 250 pieces of his finest work. It's the first show of this size to center around Picasso at the Institute in nearly 30 years, featuring priceless paintings, sculptures, drawings, and prints not only from the museum's collection, but those of local Chicago collectors as well.

What Can I Expect to See? -

Alongside Picasso's work, the exhibit will follow Chicago's ascent to the forefront of American art. Specific masterpieces on display include The Old Guitarist, Cubist Head of a Woman (Fernande), and Red Armchair.
